Antique 19th Century Indian (Kutch) solid silver teapot featuring a spherical body and a rounded bud-shaped finial on the lid. Finely decorated in high relief with scrolling foliage and floral motifs on a tooled ground. A blank cartouche is positioned at the centre. The teapot is mounted with an angled handle and rests on four flared feet. Not hallmarked as if often the case for Indian silver, but acid tested 900+ grade silver.
