20th Century Persian Islamic Silver drinking set, massive size, comprising of a tall jug / decanter and six large goblets on a tray, each piece profusely engraved with typically Persian Shiraz-style pre-Islamic figural Royalty scenes and processions of warriors, very detailed and very fine sharp craftmanship.

Hallmarked Persian silver (84), and "900", proving that the set is high grade standard, 900+ standard. Arabic marks and Maker's marks for Vaspour, an Armenian silversmith operating in Persia. The set probably dates to 1940-1950.

Antique / Vintage 20th Century rare Persian Islamic Solid Silver complete and very decorative drinking set, massive size, comprising of a tall jug / decanter and six large goblets on a tray, each piece profusely engraved with typically Persian Shiraz-style pre-Islamic figural Royalty scenes and processions of warriors, very detailed and very fine sharp craftmanship.

The silver set is massive, twice the size as usual. The decanter is 43cm tall, each goblet is 12.7cm, 3385 grams of solid silver in total.

Each piece is Hallmarked Persian silver (84), and "900", proving that the set is high grade standard, 900+ standard. Arabic marks and Maker's marks for Vaspour, an Armenian silversmith operating in Persia. The set probably dates to 1940-1950.
