19th Century Japanese Silver coffee pot, of baluster form, lobed body applied with cast flowers, handle cast as a wooden branch, pull-off lid surmounted by a naturalistic finial. Hallmarked with Japanese marks, probably the silversmith's mark, the silver has been acid tested and shows a 900+ standard. The piece is typically Meiji, dating to 1890's.
