Antique early-20th Century Japanese Meiji Period solid silver and enamel 4 piece smoking set, consisting of a cigarette box and ashtray box with removable lids, match case on four feet and accompanied with a tray. The tops are decorated with horizontal cloisonne enamel panels depicting Japanese landscapes on light blue ground. All hallmarked Japanese silver (950+ standard), Tokyo, Maker Kobayashi, c.1910.

CONDITION

Some damage to the enamel on the ashtray box and general wear.
