ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Mario Lopez Torres was one of Mexico’s most celebrated rattan designers of the 1960s and 1970s. Based in Puerto Vallarta, he became internationally renowned for his sculptural, tropical-inspired furniture and lighting, often commissioned for luxury hotels and high-end residences. His work is characterized by dramatic silhouettes, exceptional hand craftsmanship, and a refined yet playful interpretation of natural forms, making his designs highly sought after today.
CONDITION
In good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Minor surface marks and natural variations to the rattan consistent with age and use. Electrically tested and in working order. Please refer to photographs.
