Description
Vintage mid 20th Century British pair of Strand Electric Theatre Spotlight Lamp Projectors on stand, professionally polished to a very high level, stunning design: the famous "pattern 23" was made by the important company Strand Electric from 1953, it projects a clear cut of beam, the fitted detachable masks and lenses for the gate runners are missing (as always the case for original vintage models). Each light is adapted with a standard size bulb (40 W) and a new and safe plug. This very decorative and stylish spotlights are perfect to fit in a modern apartment or office, to highlight paintings or for an original illumination. The lamp is Marked "STRAND ELECTRIC" and is mounted on a vintage mid-20th Century brass and wood lamp or helioscope stand, Marked "LAMP STAND, LAMP OR HELIOSCOPE, P.B.&S Ltd 1944". Condition
In Great condition - one of the lenses has a chip along the rim, but doesn't affect the quality of the light.
