VINTAGE 20thC ITALIAN 'CALLA' FLOOR LAMP BY ANGELO LELLI FOR ARREDOLUCE c.1960
Iconic “Calla” floor lamp designed by Angelo Lelli for Arredoluce, Monza, Italy, circa 1950. This sculptural lamp features a solid copper conical base with elegant brass stems rising to support seven hand-blown glass shades, each shaped like a stylised calla lily.
The organic, floral form is a hallmark of Lelli’s work and reflects the refined Italian modernism of the post-war period, where artisanal craftsmanship met innovative lighting design. The softly flared glass diffuses light beautifully, creating a warm and atmospheric glow while functioning as a strong decorative statement.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Angelo Lelli was one of the most influential Italian lighting designers of the mid-20th century. A pioneer in combining sculptural form with technical innovation, Lelli played a central role in defining the aesthetic of post-war Italian lighting. His designs often drew inspiration from natural forms while embracing modern materials such as brass, copper, and hand-blown glass. Lelli’s work is now highly sought after and represented in major design collections, celebrated for its balance of elegance, functionality, and expressive form.
