Antique exquisite late 18th Century circular snuff box by the Genevan goldsmith Jean George Rémond, finely made in 18 carat gold and richly decorated with translucent royal blue enamel. The lid displays a beautifully worked radiating guilloché ground beneath vibrant blue enamel, centred by a delicate gold floral bouquet within a finely engraved scrolling border. An elegant garland of trailing flowers and foliage encircles the lid, framed by concentric gold and blue enamel borders with intricate foliate ornament. The softly contrasting ivory toned sides are enclosed by finely detailed gold mounts, lending the box a refined and harmonious appearance. The richness of the blue enamel, together with the precision of the gold decoration, exemplifies the exceptional craftsmanship for which Geneva's finest goldsmiths were renowned, combining neoclassical proportions with the luxurious materials and meticulous decorative techniques characteristic of Genevan objets de vertu. Antique 18th Century Swiss gold poudrier of circular form, the cover beautifully decorated with a vibrant royal blue guilloché enamel ground, overlaid with an intricate vermicular cloisonné pattern of delicate, sinuous lines. The enamelled panel is framed by a continuous border of lustrous seed pearls, set within finely worked gold mounts. The sides are elegantly reeded and enriched with delicate floral ornament in white and translucent green enamel, the decorative bands providing a charming contrast to the richly coloured cover. The combination of finely executed enamelling, meticulously arranged pearls and restrained gold ornament exemplifies the refinement and technical virtuosity of Swiss goldsmiths of the late eighteenth century. Marked to the inner rim "529", Maker's mark on the inside is rubbed and illegible.

Antique 19th Century German 18K gold and enamel snuff box, made by the renowned Hanau goldsmiths Charles Collins & Söhne. Of elegant rectangular form with softly rounded corners, the box is beautifully decorated with vibrant royal blue enamel, enriched with an intricate geometric latticework design in gold. The repeating diamond pattern is punctuated by delicate pale blue and white enamel quatrefoil motifs, creating a wonderfully rich and highly refined appearance. The hinged lid is centred by an oval reserve, exquisitely embellished with elaborate chased gold scrollwork in the Rococo taste, contrasting beautifully against the deep blue enamel ground. The borders are framed by polished gold mounts and delicate decorative detailing, while the front features an ornate, finely chased gold foliate thumbpiece, demonstrating the remarkable attention to detail throughout. The combination of vivid enamel, intricate gold ornamentation and harmonious proportions is characteristic of the finest luxury gold boxes produced in Hanau during the early 19th century. Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship, Hanau goldsmiths created elaborate objets de vertu for the wealthy European aristocracy and discerning collectors. Hallmarked to both the inner lid and the interior of the box, with the makers marks for Charles Collins & Söhne.

Antique 19th Century German 18k gold snuff box with in built hidden compartment, of rectangular form, the lid designed as an envelope-style flap, centred by a finely painted polychrome enamel scene depicting a hunt in a wooded landscape, with two huntsmen directing a pack of hounds in pursuit of a stag. The shaped enamel panel framed by a delicate geometric border of blue champlevé enamel, flanked by richly chased foliate scrollwork against a textured gold ground. The borders further embellished with pale enamel bands and repeating blue floral motifs, the front similarly decorated with horizontal engine turned bands and a continuous frieze of blue enamel quatrefoils. The underside decorated with a swirling blue enamel pattern centred by a gold starburst motif, the corners embellished with foliate ornament. The proper right side incorporating a discreet vesta compartment.
The underside struck with the maker's mark GW, accompanied by two cartwheel marks for Gustav Wancke.

Antique 18th Century Exceptional French 18k gold & enamel snuff box, a circular snuffbox crafted in solid gold, adorned with blue, green, and white enamels, further enhanced by gold spangles and pastilles. The intricate design features festoons, palmettes, and garland foliage. The lid is centered with a miniature portrait surrounded by a delicate border of fine pearls, depicting Pierre Victor, Baron de Besenval de Brünstatt, a recipient of the Order of Saint-Louis.
Hallmarked with the Master goldsmith's mark for Joseph Etienne Blerzy, received master in 1768. Charge mark for Paris 1783 - 1789, farmer general Henri Clavel. Discharge mark: lapwing head, Paris from 1783 - 1786. Engraved with the number 721 on the rim.

This exquisite case features machine-engraved patterns in the distinguished “Prince of Wales” style. Created by the renowned New York, Paris, and Palm Beach jeweler Charlton & Co, it is mounted with an elegant platinum clasp delicately set with old cut diamonds.

The cover is centred by a charming musical trophy comprising a harp, lute, drums, trumpets and sheet music, delicately painted against a soft green ground and framed by a broad pink enamel border embellished with intricate gold foliate scrollwork and white enamel accents. The sides are similarly adorned with scrolling gold ornament against a pink enamel ground, interspersed with shaped green enamel reserves finely painted with colourful bouquets of flowers. The underside is likewise decorated in enamel with a central floral bouquet. Hallmarked on the interior rim "57", otherwise unmarked.
