19th Century French silver figural vase & cover, of quatrefoil form, the base and handles mounted with cast cherubs and the surfaces richly chased with masks, arabesques and other motifs, equestrian group finial, the gilt interiors of the liner and cover engraved with important French and English inscriptions. Hallmarked French silver (Minerva's head, 950), Paris, year 1845, Maker's mark for Maison Odiot.

20th Century German Silver figure, modeled as a jousting knight on horseback, holding detachable spear and shield, impressively large and very naturalistically well-refined, horse and rider clad in armor with movable helmet visor, the horse is rearing and set with coloured cabochons, standing on a rectangular marble plinth. Hallmarked German silver ("STERLING" 925 standard).

19th Century German Hanau Silver impressively large lidded tankard, in the style of the early 16th Century example, beautifully chased and embossed with a very detailed and crowded battle scene, the base decorated with scrolling foliage in relief, large figural handle terminating with a scrolling leaf junction, hinged domed cover in the same style applied with a scrolling feather shaped thumb-piece and large figure of a soldier with a spear as a finial. Hallmarked with German Hanau pseudo-marks used by J.D.Schleissner & Sohne.

19th Century French Silver basket, shaped oval form on four hoof shaped feet, openwork sides applied with garlands, cherubs, birds and rams heads in typical french empire style. Hallmarked English import silver, Importers mark Samuel Boyce Landeck.

19th Century Norwegian Silver and Cloisonne' enamel set of 12 tea spoons and tea strainer, the silver is richly gilt, decorated with blue turquoise enamel on wirework scrolls, with white beaded boarder on matted silver ground. Hallmarked Norwegian silver (925), Oslo, year 1880-1925, Maker's mark for David Andersen.
