19th Century Chinese silver cabinet / wall plaque, of large size, chased with beautifully scenes in relief depicting people of nobility enjoying activities of leisure amongst foliage, the center depicting a large pagoda, the rim chased with very detailed cross-key boarder, raised rim applied with cast plaques depicting fish and frogs.
Hallmarked 90, probably made in Canton, year 1870-1880, Retailers mark WH for Wang Hing.

19th Century French silver and glass pair of claret jugs, each body is baluster form, beautifully cut and etched, the silver foot, neck and handle are chased with leaves and scrolls, the hinged lid is surmounted by a cast floral finial. Each part is

19th Century Indian Kutch (Cutch) silver cup, inverted shaped, impressively heavy gauge and exceptionally fine workmanship, very closely worked, dipicting hunting scenes, surrounded by foliate and floral repoussé design on a matted ground. Mounted with an unusual scroll handle.

19th Century Russian silver trompe l'oeil bread basket, very large and of heavy gauge, of oval form, embellished with a fringed cloth, flanked by a pair of ropetwist handles and raised on wirework feet.
Hallmarked Russian Silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, Maker's mark in Cyrillic for Pavel Ovchinnikov. Engraved with family initials M.H.B.
