19th Century French 18k gold bonbonniere box, the lid with an oval enamel panel painted on blue bround dipicting a young courting couple, with a man presenting a letter to a lady, within a pearl frame, surrounded by translucent blue enamel over sunray engine-turning, framed by a light blue and dusty pink paillon border, the sides and base similarly decorated, maker's mark crowned R incuse, the rim further struck '38' and 'M3'.

18th Century German 18k gold snuff box, large and of oval form, within a laurel and ribbon frame on a linear engine-turned ground with laurel and ribbon border, the sides decorated with festoons and bead band on sable ground, the linear panels separated by pilasters of chased musical trophies and a lower band guilloche ribbons.
Hallmarked with German Hanau marks, later Dutch import mark, Maker Esais Fernau.

19th Century German 18k gold snuff box, of traditional oval form, the lid applied with an enamel plaque representing an allegory of pintura, flanked by a putto holding a torch, within an elaborately chased floral frame, the box is hand engraved with floral decoration and flower vases in oval reserves, with a complimentary design to the base.
Hallmarked with the letter (M), maker unknown, the box probably made in Germany in the early part of the 19th century.

18th Century French magnificent three-coloured 18k gold snuff box, of oval form, engine turned, sides chased with floral decorations in reserves and interwoven ribbon boarders.
Hallmarked with French hallmarks, Paris, Makers mark for Louis Ouizille, signed Sageret A Paris.

19th Century Swiss 18k gold snuff box, of traditional oval form, the lid engraved depicting the Greek goddess Demeter, (the goddess of the harvest), holding a large cornucopia and a lion beside her, decorated with a compendium of the finest engine turned techniques and decorated with scrolls and leafs within a blue enamel boarders.
Hallmarked with Makers mark IGRC for I.G.Remond & Company.
