19th Century Japanese Meiji period silver figures of wild wood pigeons, on a carved wood stand. The naturalistically modelled birds decorated with enamelled eyes and plumage, with realistically engraved feathers.
Tested to be 950+ high grade silver. Attributed to Hasegawa Issei (Gyokutosai), 1890-1920, active in Asakusa, Tokyo during the Meiji and Taisho Eras.

19th Century German 18k gold snuff box, made in the style of the early 1720's boxes, cartouche shaped, chased with a scene depicting possibly a Dutch lady being served tea by her Oriental servants, dressed in 17th century dress, lid and base embossed with rocaille shells, rococo scrolls and the sides engraved with cross-hatch corners and floral garlands.
Hallmarked with German Hanau pseudo marks (750).
