19th Century Swiss 18k gold snuff box, the lid set with a marquise shaped panel delicately hand painted depicting holly mother and child surrounded by an engraved laurel leaf boarder and a large boarder with ovals and arrows. Engine-turned decoration on lid, sides and base, applied with dark blue translucent enamel, within light blue boarders and navettes.

Hallmarked with crowned maker mark GGB (Guidon, Gide & Blondet Fils, Geneva, 1801-1804), enamelled by Abraham Lissignol.

20th Century Victorian silver tea caddy, shaped as a Chinese ginger jar on stand, heavy and profusely embossed, depicting c-scrolls and flowers surrounding a Chinese figure in landscape and reverse showing a dragon on matted ground, the domed pull-off lid set with a cast floral finial. Inside the jar is richly gilt and standing on a very elaborate base.

19th Century Austrian hand painted enamel comport applied with silver-gilt mounts. The round-shaped bowl on domed stand depicting various classical scenes, surrounded by scrolling foliage on blue and white ground, inside decorated in similar manner.

Hallmarked Austro-Hungarian silver guarantee mark (900 standard, used 1872-1922), Maker's mark "LP" for Ludwig Politzer.
