DESCRIPTION
Antique mid-18th Century Imperial Russian solid silver gilt cup & cover, the shaped lobed body on conforming foot, lid and foot chased with scrolls and floral decoration, the stem shaped as a male figure, detachable cover set with an Imperial two headed eagle. Each part is Hallmarked Russian silver (84 for 875 standard), Moscow, Maker in Cyrillic AG (Alexander Gilderbrand, active mid 18th century)
