Antique 19th Century rare Imperial Russian Solid Silver 4 piece tea and coffee set, comprising of teapot, coffee pot, covered sugar bowl and cream jug, richly parcel gilt, of partially fluted design, resting on four cast feet, cast scroll and floral rim.

Each part is Hallmarked Russian silver (84 for 875 standard), Moscow, year 1839, Assayer's mark for Nikolay Dubrovin, Maker's mark for Sazikov, one of the most important Russian silversmiths and jewellers of all time, appointed purveyor of silverware to Tsar Nicholas I in 1837 (for more information please follow this link).
