DESCRIPTION
Antique 19th Century rare Imperial Russian Solid Silver-gilt and cloisonne' enamel teapot and covered sugar bowl, each of spherical form, richly gilded and beautifully and profusely enamelled with scrolling foliage and stylized flowers, rare mother of pearl insulators and finials, gilt chain connecting the lid to the handle.
Each part is Hallmarked Russian silver (84 for 875 standard), Moscow, Assayer's mark AA and year 1895, Maker's mark in Cyrillic for Nikolai Vasilevich Alexeev, important silversmith specializing in high-quality enamelled silverware.
CONDITION
In Great Condition - no damage, just general wear.
