DESCRIPTION
Antique early-20th Century Imperial Russian solid silver & shaded cloisonne' enamel Kovsh, of traditional oval form, with raised prow and hook handle, the body beautifully decorated with various shaded polychrome cloisonne' enamel with stylised scrolling foliage and an imperial two headed eagle. A beautiful combinations of enamels used, light blues, pinks and yellow on light green ground. Hallmarked Russian silver 84 (875 standard), Moscow, year 1908-1917, Maker in Cyrillic MC (Maria Semenova).
