ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Joe Colombo was an influential Italian designer known for his forward-thinking approach to furniture design and architecture. Born in 1930, his career spanned various disciplines, including industrial design, interior design, and visual arts. Colombo's work often showcased a blend of functionality and aesthetics, leading to the creation of several iconic pieces beyond the Elda chair, including the innovative "Bob" and "Universal" furniture systems. CONDITION
Some of the fasteners of the cushions to the shell of the chair have perished but do not detract from the use of the chair. All upholstery original to the chair, only minor wear. The swivel mechanism a little “sticky“. Please refer to photographs.
