ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Bedding Brevetti was a prominent Italian furniture manufacturer known for its innovative approach to form and materials during the postwar design boom. The company collaborated with leading designers of the era and even produced pieces for the iconic architect Ettore Sottsass. Among its noteworthy contributors was Agostino Lescai, a designer and architect whose work is characterised by a blend of sculptural modernism and technical precision. Lescai’s pieces for Bedding Brevetti, such as this pair of armchairs, exemplify his refined sense of proportion and his interest in tactile, high-quality materials, hallmarks of Italian design in the 1970s.
