Building a Legacy: Pushkin’s Charity Gala & Auction

Pushkin’s will be hosting an exclusive Charity Gala Evening at 6pm on Tuesday 6th October at Pushkin's (64 High st, Tunbridge Wells), in support of the Orthodox Church in Hastings and its invaluable work within the local community.

This fundraising appeal is about far more than preserving a place of worship. It is about securing a permanent home for an organisation that has become a vital source of connection, support, and hope for many. Through seasonal fundraising events, open garden parties and community outreach, this church provides opportunities for people to come together, build friendships, and access practical support. Its doors are open to everyone, including refugees, those living alone, and individuals who are vulnerable or socially isolated.

Your support will enable this important work not only to continue, but to grow, ensuring these initiatives remain available for generations to come.

The evening promises to be an elegant and inspiring occasion. We are honoured to welcome Sarah Fabergé as our distinguished guest speaker, who will share her unique insight and experience. Aswell as the Prince Rostislav of the Romanovs dynasty, the great-grandson of Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna, making him a grand-nephew of Russia's last emperor, Nicholas II.

Guests will also enjoy an exclusive charity auction, featuring an exceptional collection of lots generously donated by our friends and partners, with all proceeds dedicated to this important fundraising cause.

Gallery Entry Tickets – £50 per person.

Your ticket includes a champagne reception, cocktails and an exquisite selection of canapés within the beautiful surroundings of Pushkin's Gallery. As this is an intimate event with limited capacity, early reservation is highly recommended.

Following the auction, guests are warmly invited to continue the evening at an exclusive three course Charity Dinner at The Warren Restaurant, Tunbridge Wells. This private dining experience is available at an additional £100 per person. The proceedings will be generously donated to the church.

We would be delighted if you and your guests could join us for what promises to be a truly memorable evening of elegance, philanthropy, and community spirit.

Your attendance, participation in the auction, and support of this campaign will play a vital role in helping secure a permanent home where this remarkable work can continue to flourish.

Together, we can create a lasting legacy, one that will continue to bring people together, provide support for those who need it most, and strengthen the community for many years to come.
